FAQ
1. How do I know if my business qualifies? If your principle business is a salon, gym, restaurant, or you are an active teacher then you probably qualify. If your business doesn't fit into these categories, contact us either by email or phone and we will determine your level of qualification 2. Why should I provide a Service Syndicate account for my employees when they already receive discounts from our vendors? Added Employment Benefit - Access to the Service Syndicate should be used as a perk or benefit for being an employee. Reducing turnover and employee satisfaction lead to a more enjoyable and profitable work environment. Variety & Price - no matter how many product categories and brands you carry, it is guaranteed that your employees still pay full retail for many that you don't carry. They would undoubtedly purchase a much greater variety of goods if these products were readily available at deeply discounted prices. These are often for the same brands that would like to give your influential employees a deal to represent their brands. Evaluation - use Service Syndicate to purchase individual products for evaluation without going through the typical new account setup "procedures". Convenience - even with your existing vendors, dealing with their programs is generally a hassle - for your employees, for your vendors sales and/or customer service reps, and probably for you as well. By registering a Service Syndicate account, your employees are free to shop all of the brands they are authorized to via the Internet, without them, or you calling anyone or waiting for the rep to show up in the shop. Buying Data - as a Buyer Administrator you have access to all purchase activity on your account. Make sure your employees preferences are used to evaluate future trends, they are the leading indicators of what your customers will be buying. 3. So what type of suppliers will my account have access to? That depends on several factors, most importantly what type of business you are. Many suppliers will be very exclusive about who has access to their programs , while just as many, if not more, will elect to be more aggressive to whom they offer their program to. 4. What are the limits to whom I can sign up as a buyer on our account? All authorized buyers for your account must be paid employees.. 5. Am I personally or my business liable for purchases made by buyers on my account? No. All buyers enter orders as individual authorized buyers and must provide credit or debit card payment information that is pre-authorized before an order is accepted. 6. Can my employees place orders on my business credit card? Yes, however it is entirely at your own discretion. Service Syndicate is investigating other payment options for buyers without credit or debit cards. 7. What am I responsible for as the Buyer Account Administrator? Your basic responsibilities are to keep your authorized buyer list up to date and to prevent your account from being abused. The extent of your liability is the suspension or the permanent termination of your account should Service Syndicate find you personally responsible or unwilling to control abuse of your account. Service Syndicate will provide activity reporting, as well as exception reporting to aid in identifying potential abuse to your account, and in turn you will be expected to act on and respond to Service Syndicate.com inquiries to suspected abuses. These responsibilities are all described in detail in the Buyer Account Agreement that you must read and accept to activate your account. 8. Is Service Syndicate owned by or associated with any consumer e-tailers? No, Service Syndicate is a privately held and completely neutral service company. We are fully committed to providing a level playing field for all brands to reach industry opinion leaders. As a trade only site, we are not beholden to individual vendors to move inventory. To do so would bite from the hands of our retail account customers and would go against all our core business practices. |
